Richard has worked in the construction industry for over 35 years, starting out as a trainee quantity surveyor in 1983 with Stamford Construction.

During his career he has held positions with various building contractors and with businesses within the supply chain.

His qualifications include ONC (Building), HNC (Building), AAT Foundation / NVQ Level 2 (Accounts) & AAT Intermediate / NVQ Level 3 (Accounts).

His current responsibilities include estimating for building work and negotiating and placing of material orders.

Away from work Richard is kept very busy, being a father of six young children. He and his wife also have a passion for motorbikes, however trips out are few and far between these days due to family commitments.
