GKL’s very first contract back in 1999 was for the design and build of a warehouse in Suffolk for a storage and distribution centre for a national haulier. Since these early beginnings, we have combined our expertise for building and civil engineering in many of our projects. We have undertaken a wide and varied array of building projects for very different clients ranging from the construction of a golf driving range, from commercial units and trade counters to bespoke 20,000 sq. ft. private houses.

Recently we have been engaged as the principal contractor on a number of office to residential developments and to the end of 2018 we had completed in excess of 170 residential apartments in and around Peterborough city centre as well as 2 luxury houses to the North of the city.

With our civil engineering and ground works experience and expertise we are in the fortunate position where we can offer a full turnkey construction and building service from design and planning stage through to completion. We have an experienced and focused building team who are supported by a robust and trusted group of sub-contractors and partners meaning that the whole project can be managed and controlled from under the same roof.
