GKL were approached by the landowner of the site at Funthams Lane, Whittlesey to assist them with a solution to extend the existing external yard of a local transport and distribution specialist due to their expanding fleet of vehicles.
Working with the landowner and the tenant GKL managed the whole process from technical design, planning approval through to the actual works on site which included site clearance, new drainage with 300m3 of stormwater attenuation, over 3,000m2 of reinforced concrete along with new fencing and street lighting.
All of the above was completed whilst keeping the current yard operational so as to cause the minimum amount of disruption to the tenant and their daily business.
