GKL Group Take on 3 Peaks Challenge for Little Miracles

One year on from their participation in ‘DIY SOS The Big Build’ on behalf of Children in Need 2013, six members of the GKL Group team will be undertaking the prestigious Three Peaks Challenge on behalf of Peterborough childrens charity, Little Miracles.

On the 25th September, James Brackenbury, Eamonn Killoughery, Phil Cowland, Reece Toye, Joe Clarke, Steve Milne and John Ford will undertake the challenge to climb three of the UK’s tallest peaks in one go. The peaks being attempted will be Ben Nevisin Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, in that order.

Joe Clarke, one of the team members undertaking the challenge comments: “Little Miracles is a charity close to GKL’s heart thanks to the involvement GKL had with DIY SOS and Children In Need when undertaking The Big Build last year. The team are very excited, yet maybe a little nervous to be attempting The Three Peaks Challenge however, we are confident that we will achieve our £2,000 target for this fantastic charity.”

Little Miracles is a Peterborough based charity who support the families of those with disabled and terminally ill children. In 2013, Little Miracles was selected by DIY SOS to undergo a £1 million rebuild and refurbishment of their centre in Westwood Peterborough as part of Children in Need.
