Nene Park

GKL Building & Civil Engineering Ltd were engaged by Nene Park Trust and Nene Valley Golf Services as Principal Contractor for the new golf driving range and teaching academy at Thorpe Wood Golf Course, Peterborough. The state of the art driving range covers two tiers and has twenty three bays with three dedicated fitting and teaching bays. As Principal Contractor, GKL Building & Civil Engineering Ltd had general overall responsibility for the project including project management and general programming and coordination of all trades.

GKL also undertook all groundworks, earthworks and infrastructure works utilising our own specialist labour and equipment. The range which was officially opened on 4th May 2012 by Director of Golf Simon Fitton is now the premier all round golf, teaching and fitting centre for Peterborough and the surrounding area.
