Works commenced on Monday 10th September on a new 79 bedroom care home facility at Saxon & Roman Court, Stanground, Peterborough.

Engaged on behalf of Kier Eastern, who in turn are working for Cross Keys Homes, GKL Group a building and civil engineering company with offices in Peterborough and London have been awarded the groundwork’s package for this new development.

Works including bulk earthworks and disposal, reinforced concrete foundations, adoptable and domestic drainage, Section 278 and 38 highway works and bespoke hard landscaping will all be undertaken by our own skilled workforce.

Phillip Hopkins, GKL Group Contract Manager for the project commented that the work with an estimated duration of 12 months and value of c.£550k is our second local project with Kier Eastern and one which will hopefully see our relationship with them strengthened and cement our place as a key supply chain partner.
